The A320, the A324 and the routes out to Knaphill
The A320 runs north out of the town and the A324 heads west towards Knaphill, with the A322 taking traffic south. Between them they carry a heavy commuter load twice a day, and there is very little shoulder on any of them.
The Basingstoke Canal and the railway both cut across the district, which means the crossings are pinch points and detours are long. If you break down on the wrong side of one, the difference in our route can be a couple of miles. In the multi-storeys, the limit is headroom rather than distance — give us the car park and the level and we will send a vehicle that fits under the barrier.

Questions we get asked about GU21
- Can you fit a tyre inside a Woking multi-storey?
- Usually, but headroom decides it. Tell us the car park and the level when you ring and we will send a vehicle that clears the barrier. If nothing fits, we can often get the car down to street level on a temporary spare and work there.
- Do you cover Knaphill and Goldsworth Park at night?
- We work through the night across the whole district. Residential estates are straightforward after dark because the roads are quiet and driveways are free. We use our own lighting and keep the noise to a minimum on a late job.
- Can you get onto a site with a gatehouse?
- Only if we are expected. Let reception or security know a tyre fitter is coming and give us the name they will have on the list. Without that, our driver will be stopped at the barrier and the job does not happen.
